Farley’s Friday: Can a Wheaten Terrier Cry?

Farley here,

The answer to Can a Wheaten Terrier Cry is yes.

My friend for life, Finn, spent two and a half weeks living with me. Every night we snuggled side-by-side in our beds, reminiscing about the day. Okay, I’m sleeping and Finn is looking for something mischievous to do, but you get my point. He’s my bud. He’s an Icelandic sheepdog and very smart.

Then the day comes when he has to go home. We curl up on the couch – ’cause Matt isn’t home – and I put my paw over my eyes and hide my tears. I know I’m going to miss him.

Why can’t he live with us? I know he has his own humans, but mine are nice too. I think he should move in.

  1. Maybe your human would let you got to the shelter for dogs with no home and let you pick a friend who could always stay with you? Then again I think about how nice it would be to be the one and only dog and not have to share the attention and treats with others

    1. I’ve heard them talking about another dog. They think is would be nice to get one my age. I’m seven. But you’re right, then I have to share them and my bed. I don’t mind sharing my treats, but I like Kristina to myself.

  2. Dear Farley,
I understand about missing someone who’s added so much to your life. Then, bam pow, they are gone. Perhaps a few doggy biscuits will help soothe your mind.
