This is a family friendly blog, and I reserve the right to remove comments posted by others if I deem they are inappropriate or offensive in any way. The content on the blog is an opinion and not meant to malign any religion, ethnic group, club, organization, company, or individual. At times I discuss my research and what I am using for a novel. We all make mistakes, and I apologize if I have made any on this site. Though I am a writer, I do make punctuation and grammar mistakes. I may use a word that is fine in English, but does not translate well to other languages. If anyone using the information on this site is harmed, I am not responsible. If you find mistakes, feel free to let me know, and I will do my best to rectify the situation.

I do link to other sites. Sometimes links get out of date and link to an unintended site. I check them regularly, but if you find a link is not working as it should, please let me know. I am not responsible for the content of sites I link to.

I love to get comments, but be advised I am not responsible, nor will I be held liable, for anything anyone else posts on my blog or in the blog comments.     I am about to embark on a new adventure, and hope to learn from yours! We have a 41′ sailboat and intend to cruise with two dogs….and I’ll be writing while cruising. It doesn’t look like this blog has been updated in awhile, but I’d love to stay in touch if you’d be open to that.

        1. For dog – bring a fully supplied medical kit, including antibiotics, bandages, pain meds etc. Our vet helped us with this. For writing, writing on a boat is the best place I’ve found to write. Somehow my imagination really got going. I have a kindle so all my books on how to write were with me.
